It will be interesting to see how the queues are this weekend. Last Friday I had a 90 minute queue when they were having the initial issues then after that I didn’t get a login queue the rest of the weekend, so this Friday it’ll either be a short queue because they resolved their issues or a 175 minute queue.

They didn’t spend $1m to avoid paying 25k, they spent $1m to avoid paying 25k and all the future costs not fighting this would have cost.

I was actually hoping druid wasn’t going to be in this beta either so I could just skip it, but I guess there goes a good portion of this coming weekend too.

I think the gameplay itself in 4 is still very simplistic and brain empty. Like Levi wrote and like I experienced, you can pop up a podcast, throw on some tv, take some gummies and tune out and you’ll still probably not even die while leveling/questing.

I mainly did a ranged rogue and messed around with sorc/barb a bit. It was hard to get an idea of how things will actually be because I’m guessing certain classes need way more skills to get good. My bow rogue was just melting everything. I was hoping druid would have been in the beta because I’m really leaning that…

Agreed on the streaming issue. I hate that even with a good connection the loading and controller lag remains a thing. Also why can’t they use complete editions for streaming? I’d play Fallout: NV even with the issues I mentioned if it included DLC, only having access to the base game is just dumb.

I was very hyped for this when they were talking about the classics catalog before they made the change because I thought it meant all the Final Fantasy games, Breath of Fires, etc. What they ended up giving for RPGs in the classics is a bit disappointing.
