Yeah, I'm someone who's more than willing to call an okay episode an okay episode, but I thought this was about as good as Community gets apart from its swing-for-the-fences high concept episodes.

Since it happened twice I thought it could be an intentional mistake, maybe having to do with "John Thomas" being a euphemism for penis.  That might be a stretch.
