Nope. Definitely not just you.

Yes, technically, anything can be cited in an academic paper. Determining if those citations are useful or appropriate is a different matter entirely.

Well, at least one person agrees with you. (That would be me, btw.)

Does anyone live on Lord Howe Island? Were they asked how they feel about the reintroduction of those giant fuckers? I'd be like "You're reintroducing what now? WHAAATT THAAA FAAAAAA????"

Aw, thanks. I felt horribly guilty about mentioning it. It's a great article and one I'll come back to, I'm sure.

There's a mystery story in there somewhere, just waiting to get out, about events that supposedly took place between September 2 and 14, 1752. "But there was no September 10, 1752!" Dun dun dun.

I've become convinced that the animals that PETA thinks it's helping and actual, real animals, as they really exist, are two very different things. It seems as if they have this sort of abstract idea of what animals should be and no real understanding of the relationship between domesticated animals and humans.

She really is astonishingly pretty, isn't she? I do think it's totally bonkers though that she wears those shoes as casual wear. Casual wear! Girl, put on a pair of sneaks.

I generally don't covet other people's body parts, but I've always admired her legs and I wish that mine were that fabulous.

For those of you wondering why the guy would do something as stupid and illegal as opening the emergency door: remember, he was the one sitting next to the crying baby. If I had been him, I'd be all like, "Good idea! I'll go first."

Party at your place this weekend, then. That is a well stocked booze cabinet, my friend.

My co-worker friend (who supervises a lot of people) wanted to get that on a poster for her office.

"...males who had the parasite were more introverted, suspicious, oblivious to other people's opinions of them, and inclined to disregard rules."

Ha ha! Didn't think it could get worse than batter and then I go and make it worse myself. Now I can't get those words outta my head.

Pregnant and Abandoned? It looks like she's just been abandoned, right there on the beach. "Where'd everybody go? I am alone and in a bikini. Halp."

Totally legal. I'm only 1 hour from the border so i just go on a Saturday to pick stuff up and it's not even the whole day used up. You do have to be cognizant of duty. Depending on what you're picking up you might get dinged. However, on the occasions I have had to pay duty it has STILL been cheaper than it would

Do you live near the border? Many US border towns have business that will provide you with a US address and will keep the package for you to pick up at your convenience. Even with the fee for storage it's cheaper than shipping.

It is still usually the woman who stays at home after having children, at least for a while, regardless of economic status. That's just data, no sexism there. (Unless you were implying that women should stay at home. I don't think you were though.) If the family only has one car, it's likely that it will be used to

I agree. There's no easy fix for nervousness, you just get over it one presentation at a time.
