I know who you're talking about and I can't recall his name off the top of my head. He's briefly covered in this book as well. I read his account of his fellow Scientologists attempting to "correct" his emotional position and reconsider leaving the church. Fascinating stuff.

But ... won't the magic spill out of the phone if you turn it sideways? I'm pretty sure it would.

I know, right? Handing Nolan the keys to Superman kinda shows where DC is at the moment. They've thrown their hands up and said, "Fuck it! You do it!"

Oh, but having the inner doubt about even being "real" is such a more interesting story to tell. That's not something that's been done to death yet. The hidden/secret daughter/son thing on the other hand ...

You are correct. The scene was filmed and cut. Apparently its going to be on the Avengers DVD.

There's no way they can pull of Wonder Woman without using the actual Wonder Woman mythos. There would be blood in the streets. She's a golem. Changing it to something stupid like she's a college student who finds out she's a super hero would irritate the hell out of everyone.

C'mon, let's get SERIOUS.

The most fun part of a Zombie Apocalypse situation to theorize on has always been this: in the absence of uninfected targets ... WHAT THE FUCK DO ZOMBIES SUBSIST ON?

Who comes up with this stuff?

Expand your understanding of the variation between zombie types, friend. Before its too late.

You know, I'm all for a Zombie Apocalypse. We need a little thinning of the herd. I plan on getting the fuck out of the way while its taking place, and there have been enough warning signs in the last couple of weeks.

I had a hard time enjoying Aliens 3 the first time I saw it. I couldn't get past the creative license to kill those characters off like that. I couldn't even remember the first half of the movie the second time I saw it on video.

The movie could be 4 hours long and I wouldn't care as long as I was being entertained.

Are you seriously going to leave the theater to get more popcorn? I think not. :)

You're spot on with the Joan of Arc reference. It certainly felt like Joan of Arc in places. The Giant Deer spirit ... I knew that felt familiar ... Mononoke. Thank you for jogging my memory to that.

Didn't you know? Faeries co-exist with Christianity apparently. :)

Its just something you don't do. Or rather, I can't think of a single other instance where I've been thrown out of my suspension of disbelief with this much sheer force. My mouth dropped open. (For the record, I am not religious at all) I swear, they might as well have had a character say, "Google, Google on the wall

I thought this movie was fine. I enjoyed it. I thought it went a little long.

This just seems like a desperate attempt at attention as opposed to an honest acknowledgement that "homosexuals are people too."

Those promos and still shots were early footage. They weren't gonna waste money rushing those to get finished. Its possible the people composing the promos didn't even realize there was an issue.
