It’s just an odd game to use as a benchmark - I suspect it was something that was simply on-hand. Anecdotal, but I’ve got a few computers in the house that get used to play overwatch from time to time and they’re all set with FPS limiters because there’s no point in running 400fps on a 144hz monitor.

Your persistent perseveration is unhealthy. Stalking isn’t a good sign, and it’s definitely not a sign of a confident person. When you start prowling through people’s profiles looking for things to argue with - that’s an obsession forming. 

Well, you’re entitled to your own opinion. At this point, there’s a plainly visible body of evidence that when invited to discuss your opinion on the topic you still choose invective over discourse, either out of a lack of ability or simple spite. I don’t think I argue in bad faith, in fact I’ve maintained my position…

I get that, but Overwatch caps out at 400fps even on a several years old processor. The meter doesn’t go above that, so almost any potent cpu from the last 4-5 years will peg it at 400fps and sit there. Not necessarily a bad metric, just an uncommon one.

Well, better for some stuff at least.

It’s weird to see Overwatch used as a benchmark! The game runs so absurdly fast on modern hardware - my game computer’s CPU is getting a little older now (8086k at 5.2ghz) and it pretty much pegs the FPS counter full-time.

That’s fine, as long as you’re having fun and not hurting anyone :)

I am sorry that your emotions got the best of you, please take some time to relax and re-center. Carrying around stress and anger is not good for you.

I just worry it’d be on par with the dark tower movie, so awful it guarantees nothing else gets made.

One of my favorite quotes from a youtube car reviewer was something along the lines of: “When I say “reliable”, I don’t mean that everything is fully intact and works great. When I say “reliable”, I mean that every time I turn the key the car starts and goes.”

If the projection helps you feel better, then go for it.

It’s all good, it played out about how I expected - instead of discussion, you really just wanted to shout me down and shut me up so you didn’t have to see or hear things you don’t agree with. It was a great example of the root issue.

I haven’t been using reddit long, but long enough to guess that that is actually a thing now. 

Man I think it was real ghostbusters... there was an episode where I think Ray had a face on his stomach, for some reason that episode scared the crap out of me every time it came on.
