It’s just a product that, largely, nobody is asking for. Just look at the iPod Hi-Fi speaker. I bought one, it was fantastic, but it was too expensive for what it provided and apple quickly abandoned the product and you generally won’t ever see them mention it. I see the homepod as a modern equivalent - a really

Another slideshow. Stop it.

god but they do look kinda cool though right

If they’d made a shooting brake/wagon version I’d have one in my garage right now. It was great in every way, just needed a lil more storage to give up the ol’ fiesta ST.

I just want an electric miata/fiesta st. Small, nimble, fun to drive with ~200 miles range and charging that takes under 15 minutes. Until electrics do that I just don’t care.

I still love Roadkill’s c4 kart - haven’t been able to get that out of my head since I saw that episode... could it be CA street legal I wonder....

The transmission is pretty decent, and it’s pretty good for a porky car in the twisties. When driving one, my issue was traction. It has a ton of power at low RPM but no ability to actually put it down. I liked it in the same way I liked 4th gen Nissan Maximas - it was pretty comfortable, and was great at being a

The “problem” with the cables is that they’re built to be sacrificial - the Apple collars crack and separate under a specific amount of torque, with the idea that the cable is cheaper to replace than the port. It’s the same reason Apple cables have split at the strain relief for years - people don’t usually want to

We have thousands of devices loaned/checked out to college students so we’ve got pretty healthy sample sizes. People are generally rougher with equipment they don’t own, and we have a LOT of usb-c ports with broken off tabs. Could be the quality of the USB port too, because almost all the broken USB-C’s are android

On the flip side, it’s really easy to clean a lightning port, and there’s no fragile plastic center tab to break off and the lightning ports don’t tend to wear out. USB-C ports can get a lil’ loose after a while.

USB-C is a much more delicate port, which is probably why they haven’t. With lightning, there’s no center tab to snap off, you can bend the tongue of a lightning connector pretty far and the port and cable will still be functional. Break the plastic center tab of a USB-C off and the port is probably nonfunctional.

Most likely you’re going to get tons of responses from individuals using their mower once a week or so. What you probably want, and are unlikely to get, is to hear from someone running a service that has multiple mowers going for 40+ hours a week. Batteries wear out pretty quickly, weigh a lot, and it’s going to cost

WHYYYYYY DO THEY CALL IT INTERNAL BLEEDING?

I love giant picard!

I like Carplay, but I don’t want this. In fact, I don’t think the infotainment system should relate to vehicle controls at all - a failed touchscreen now locks you out of a ton of vehicle functionality and there’s no way for the aftermarket to fill in. Unless this became a common standard so any Carplay head

It’s been a long time... but didn’t the Maxx have something weird about the rear seats that made them extra roomy or something?

That sounds dangerously close to regulations - not in my murica!

Suit gave me a rash, so I have to sit around covered in corn starch waiting for the humidity to go back down.
