Ew, this is like being surprised with a picture of someone’s hemorrhoids.

It’s the car equivalent of just being happy to be alive. It’s a car, and it cars. That’s it. No enjoyment, no excitement, it’s a transportation appliance. There’s a certain nobility to that... but they cost too much for the experience of driving one. In something that boring it might as well drive itself.

Pontiac Fiero. It was dent proof! It could be rebodied into anything! It could easily hold a V8 (and a v8 swapped fiero that takes an afternoon to swap was a ridiculously fun car!). They handled pretty well, were inexpensive to maintain, and in 1988.. they were finally getting bespoke hardware and could really handle.

People can have opinions different from yours.

I wonder if an LS swap would fix the maintenance issues lol.

I drove a friend’s sport because I was thinking about buying one and I just couldn’t do it. The novelty of launching hard wore off pretty quickly and the car was totally devoid of personality. I also couldn’t get over how disconnected I felt from the car, and how bad the exterior build quality was. Could fit a pencil

I still wonder who at Honda thought “Man, HDMI ports look great, lets put one on the back of the new civic”.

Glad you picked up what I was puttin’ down

The all new Stockholm Syndrome would be a great name for a Prius in grand theft auto :)

If you’re in prison long enough it starts to feel like home. Same thing.

Fiat 500 Abarth, like my photo here. It’s not fast, but it is an absolute blast to zip around in. You can go 10/10ths and still not really be going that fast, but it feels like you are and sounds amazing. Plenty of grip, the awkwardly high seating position makes things feel more exciting... it’s just a good time.

As a fiesta st owner... blend door actuators lol.

Fiat 500 abarth! Has personality in spades, available with a reasonably ok manual, fun to drive, tall seating position that is easy to get in and out of.

I swear every time I see one of those tiburons its a coin toss as to whether it makes me want to barf or I like it.

I know many regard it as sick and wrong, but I kinda want to see what the new Z will look like with rear window louvers. I saw a rocket bunny bodied BRZ with the rear window louvers and it was the perfect mix of new and old.

On the Z - I find it *really* hard to trust nissan at their “everything else we make is awful but THIS will be different!” attitude. They’ve just... lost their way. They really needed to launch something that was competing more with the 86, like the datsun concept car from a few years back. Light, simple, fun. Not a

It’s... not that great. Been there a few times, had more fun feeding the fish on the boarding ramp than I did onboard the ship. I have attended a concert in a lower deck hall before, I think we were below the waterline - that was neat, but not worth the cost of what that damn thing costs to keep afloat. Do a

Might buy if it’s good. If its another boring small turbo engined blahblah whats the point? Everything feels so... similar now with small turbo 4's.

doing the lord’s work.

were any of the mennonite cars performance modded?
