If we get an EV version of a Fiesta ST/Fiat 500 Abarth with decent range but also isn’t boring I’d be interested. The Fiat 500 ev was a thing, but it wasn’t an Abarth equivalent. A small, inexpensive pocket rocket EV would be fantastic. Even an electric miata competitor. I don’t want to drive something Camry sized or

Might not be something you’ve considered, but you can get a clip-on bluetooth adapter and make whatever headphones you want wireless. For day to day use I use one of these https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=38072. It isn’t TRRS, just TRS, so you can’t use a headset with inline mic or an external mic - only the mic

Apple’s first-party refurb program is spectacular. Everything comes out of the box in brand-new condition and has the same warranty as brand new products, and they’re eligible for AppleCare. I worked for Apple for a long time and all employees bought and recommended refurbs - the out of box the failure rate is lower

I’m pretty stoked about this. Currently have a Fiesta ST, but after 4 years of arm/elbow surgeries I can barely lift food to my mouth, and driving a stick has really lost its novelty when it hurts so much to drive. Have been hoping the N would come with an auto/dct so I could still have a fun pocket rocket that

lol I have one arm in a sling so shaving/trimming the beard has been a PITA anyways, so I zip tied the end of my shop-vac hose to my microphone boom arm, set it right in front of my face, and put in ear plugs then trimmed my beard sitting at my desk and it worked surprisingly awesome :P

something like the ubiquitous late 90's early 00's toyota pickups. basically the same size as a car, but obviously tough as evidenced by the number of them still in use by landscaping companies, loading them, down with tons of gear and like 6 dudes in the cab.

I mean... sometimes you need to carry stuff that is dirty, smelly, too tall to fit in a cuv, etc. Like carrying a motorcycle - not necessarily that big, or that heavy, but it’s a load that you would probably have a tough time loading and securing into a CUV.

take out all the electronics and creature comforts and sell a decontented one with lsd for 20-25.

Yeah give me a 200 dollar mouse that is made of metal (frame)/carbon fiber (shell) components, replaceable switches, and Logitech’s mouse software/internal mouse memory storage and I’ll happily buy one. I’m very specific about my mouse, and after a couple of carpal tunnel surgeries the only mouse that doesnt hurt is

To be fair, how long into the future do you really think that Adobe should have continued updating CS3? Didn’t CS3 come out in 2006-2007 or so, for Windows XP? I’m not a fan of Adobe’s creative cloud subscription model, especially since you wind up paying to opt-in to their data harvesting mechanism, but I think they

If it’s fun and still reasonably affordable, I welcome the upcoming “greaty six”

Right on - thanks for the “level” response.

An electric Fista ST would be legit, but only if it was ~200+ miles per charge, reasonbly light, and came in at a price point even remotely close to where the FiST did.

I mean, if 130 miles electric was a $15-20k car it’d be a great cheap commuter, but who cares how comfortable it is inside if you have to get out and stretch your legs every 130 miles?

How does the bolt feel to drive - honest question.

I would just like an electic equivalent of the Fiesta ST, with ~200-250 mile range.

how is the EB flex to drive?

On paper I should hate the things but.. I dunno for some reason I just kinda dig it. Not in a “it’s my dream car” kinda way, but I guess I kinda like that when it came out it was a bit different. Needs to be off-white with wood paneling and baby moon wheels, just an offensive rolling monstrosity.
