I mean, if 130 miles electric was a $15-20k car it’d be a great cheap commuter, but who cares how comfortable it is inside if you have to get out and stretch your legs every 130 miles?

How does the bolt feel to drive - honest question.

I would just like an electic equivalent of the Fiesta ST, with ~200-250 mile range.

how is the EB flex to drive?

On paper I should hate the things but.. I dunno for some reason I just kinda dig it. Not in a “it’s my dream car” kinda way, but I guess I kinda like that when it came out it was a bit different. Needs to be off-white with wood paneling and baby moon wheels, just an offensive rolling monstrosity.

Hey I remember that article! Because of that article I was initially pretty annoyed when USAA’s buying service shifted from in-house to “powered by truecar” - do you know if different companies have different negotiated rates for their “powered by truecar” systems? I’ve done a search/quote on the USAA one, and I’ve

Historically I have used a car buying service - these days usually the one from USAA (which is powered by TrueCar I think, but the prices are usually a lot lower than the ones the normal truecar website spits out for some reason - maybe extra negotiated discounts for veterans?). What are your thoughts on such car

What about stomping the gas pedal twice for turbo boost and flames?

There are a bajillion Karma test vehicles around my place in OC but I haven’t seen one of these yet.

I’m too long-of-torso to drive a morgan or seven (replica) safely/comfortably... but man would I drive the heck out of either of them. Impractical, sure, but when I was riding motorcycles I was a “350 day a year” rider. Raining outside? Wear a rainsuit and helmet - boom, solved.

Now I need to time travel back and warn myself about that red light runner in the new “terminator - exercise better judgement day”

I just figured it was because I was the polar opposite of profiling. Well over 6 feet tall, blond, blue eyed, etc. I kinda assumed I was being used to “even the scales”. The only time its really bad is when the some metal screws in my terminator skeleton set off metal detectors.

I feel like you could pull off a neat pixel-art version of the view ahead with some fiber optic cables or something - would be a neat project!

I don’t think any focus buyers that got the DCT’s are looking to buy another focus :P

I don’t mind the idea of AV’s for commuting in the city and so on, but if I am required to use an AV I don’t want to have to buy one. If I buy a car, I want to be able to drive it, no matter how vanilla our electric future is.

To each their own - it’s not really my thing but if it makes people happy great. I *do* kinda get tired of rolling road obstructions that make it impossible to see the road ahead, etc. I’ve seen too many people get into accidents because a smaller car is following an SUV and the suv changes lanes because traffic in

I’d support jacking up the penalties severely.

We’ve come a long way from tucking your cellphone, on speaker, into the visor above your head. I do not missing hitting the gas at a green light and having the phone fall and hit me in the nuts.

I mean... if the threats and berating were due to Synapse I could see it, but this dude sound like a poo.

Single occupant prius plug-ins, box trucks, and buses are the bane of the HOV lane.
