Is the amazon number for when packages were actually delivered, or when they showed delivered in the amazon app, because sometimes those dates differ :|

I guess it’s up to amazon drivers to dropkick my packages from the street to my front door now. Ok.

I kinda wish they’d let Star Wars stand as just the original trilogy. It’s like every subsequent movie addition to the universe just dilutes what already exists... until The Mandalorian came along. The spaghetti western vibe of the mandalorian is awesome.

Well I think one of the parts of the cartoons that works, as well, is that the characters can display a range of emotion that batfleck just couldn’t. There’s not enough depth to batman to keep things interesting across an infinite number of movies, (especially not with a wooden actor like batfleck), and especially

All of his decent stuff feels like it’s a demo for what he *could* do, so I at least always wind up disappointed. It’s like his movies are trailers that hint at something that he never quite delivers. Not bad, just... not satisfying - like taking half a dump.

oops duplicate post

Oops accidentally submitted my prior reply while still typing and now can’t delete it :| here goes attempt 2.

He’s pretty good at movies where you just switch off your brain and watch colors move on the screen, and that’s currently what sells tickets so they want him to keep doing that. It’s not about art, or expression, or telling a story - it’s about spending a couple hundred million to make what amounts to a screensaver

I’m too long-of-torso to drive a morgan or seven (replica) safely/comfortably... but man would I drive the heck out of either of them. Impractical, sure, but when I was riding motorcycles I was a “350 day a year” rider. Raining outside? Wear a rainsuit and helmet - boom, solved.

Now I need to time travel back and warn myself about that red light runner in the new “terminator - exercise better judgement day”

How about they fine them for being robocallers?

I just figured it was because I was the polar opposite of profiling. Well over 6 feet tall, blond, blue eyed, etc. I kinda assumed I was being used to “even the scales”. The only time its really bad is when the some metal screws in my terminator skeleton set off metal detectors.

I feel like you could pull off a neat pixel-art version of the view ahead with some fiber optic cables or something - would be a neat project!

I don’t think any focus buyers that got the DCT’s are looking to buy another focus :P

I don’t mind the idea of AV’s for commuting in the city and so on, but if I am required to use an AV I don’t want to have to buy one. If I buy a car, I want to be able to drive it, no matter how vanilla our electric future is.

To each their own - it’s not really my thing but if it makes people happy great. I *do* kinda get tired of rolling road obstructions that make it impossible to see the road ahead, etc. I’ve seen too many people get into accidents because a smaller car is following an SUV and the suv changes lanes because traffic in

I’d support jacking up the penalties severely.

We’ve come a long way from tucking your cellphone, on speaker, into the visor above your head. I do not missing hitting the gas at a green light and having the phone fall and hit me in the nuts.

Is their domestic-use electronic equipment and software any more reliable than the stuff they export?
