argh - I still have an asus vg248qe - I bought it because it was “gsync capable”, which turned out to mean “buy a gsync thingy and install it”- but there was no way to buy the “gysnc thingy”. I don’t really want to buy a different monitor because this one still works :sigh:

I forget that there are parts of the country where you can get a house for 1500 a month.

heh I was going to buy a Fiesta ST toy with cash, but I did 0% financing for a long term instead - it’s only going to add history and I can always pay it off whenever if I get tired of the loan.

thats probably the most polite picture response that could’ve been posted :P

If I said I wouldn’t drive that around in the snow I’d be lying.

A buddy of mine was recently let go from Tesla - he was a service center manager, and several other service center managers were also let go. Almost all of them were sitting on fat stacks of positive customer reviews going back quite a while. Several months ago customer satisfaction surveys for the delivery process

you only teach people a little bit, so if you get canned they make things a lot worse and you can charge a lot to consult ;)

lol savage

In my area at least, the number of brand new lower-end mercedes and audis on the side of the road or on tow trucks is absolutely obscene. Dealer tags still on...

Clyburn is a bad-ass. If I ever have a daughter, she’s going into the stack of role models for sure.

someone fill that cup with wingless bees

What about the occasional limo tinted S-class that treats the merging lane in the canyon like a “just for them” lane lol.

Haha yeah I know exactly what you mean. I had an Armenian friend, they had a LOT of people living in a small house but they all drove new black BMW’s - the street in front of his house looked like dealership overflow parking lol. Would never even discuss driving something else. Irvine is all white Lexuses... Lexii?

It’s exactly how I wound up with a 500 abarth - I loved (and still love) it, even though they had to buy it back. Sat at dealer for 3 months to get a throwout bearing replaced. They were backlogged with DCT replacements on 500L’s. Got a Fiesta ST instead - it’s a great car but doesn’t have that same “LOOK OUT I HAVE A

All over the place in Orange County, or at least here in Laguna Beach. Watching traffic in laguna canyon is tesla tesla bmw tesla tesla corvette tesla 124/abarth, giulia, tesla, bmw, camry tesla - + a lot of mustangs and bmw 328's driven by highschool kids.

It’s a character thing - you drive both and one makes you giggle more. Thats the one you buy :D

I do wonder how much our fire prevention here in California creates less-frequent-but-larger fires. Forest fires occur naturally, it kinda seems like fire prevention just allows things to stack up so when a fire eventually occurs its going to be a lot worse. Not arguing for/against climate change, just... the severity

every once in a while preview can do some weird stuff with PDF calculations. I noticed this while filling out PO’s that it wasn’t adding properly but Acrobat did. Wouldn’t have any issues for months, then one day boop - missing 10 cents off of a 150k PO

I think at almost every turn the humor felt forced - I mean, Bill Murray can make damned near any scene hilarious, and it’s natural and organic. I think the cast chemistry on the original was such an intrinsic part of the equation that any different group of people would’ve been measured and found wanting - not just

Hey be nice, tens of people loved that movie.
