I no longer buy cars expecting more than 100k miles. I mean, a lot of cars can’t even have the stereo head units replaced with aftermarket without a TON of work.

I’d bet those few you are thinking about are statistical outliers, you probably know a lot more people that had GM vehicles that failed - it’s that whole reticular activating system at work.

Ah, right on. After accumulating a few TB of music over the years I finally switched to just streaming only. It got tiresome trying to lug a giant library around when I only listened to maybe 5% of it. I still have it all archived, but I rarely access it these days.

Like what software? Just wondering. I do a lot of Ubunti/debian/RHEL server administration and for the most part “big” or “common” stuff seems well supported. I live my life in command line though, I’m not as familiar with the desktop end of things.

I can’t stand the electric driving experience, I want the noise, the surge of power as revs build... but as a DD, I’m having a hard time *not* getting an electric Fiat 500, they’re only 49 bucks a month.
