Ah, right on. After accumulating a few TB of music over the years I finally switched to just streaming only. It got tiresome trying to lug a giant library around when I only listened to maybe 5% of it. I still have it all archived, but I rarely access it these days.

its a lease, so who cares :P

Like what software? Just wondering. I do a lot of Ubunti/debian/RHEL server administration and for the most part “big” or “common” stuff seems well supported. I live my life in command line though, I’m not as familiar with the desktop end of things.

I can’t stand the electric driving experience, I want the noise, the surge of power as revs build... but as a DD, I’m having a hard time *not* getting an electric Fiat 500, they’re only 49 bucks a month.

Fully grown adults are free to do what they want, but what concerns me is that they foist their nonsensical garbage onto their kids. Magic healing rocks, flat earthers, antivaxxers.

Season 2 of TNG had some *really* odd camera work. The episodes themselves were obviously the show trying to hit it’s stride, but good lord the camera work was distracting.

I’d say as a show it might’ve actually experienced both the best and the worst of all the Star Trek series. DS9 definitely spent some time meandering pointlessly for a bit, but anyone that grinds through will be rewarded when it comes back around. Cisco was a pretty lame character pre-shaved head.

I’m very familiar with how my computer works, and it’s not via a pile of random rocks separated from water via a piece of plastic.

Wow relations must be improving if he wants to do us a solid like that

It’s basically Duke Nukem Forever.

It concerns me that some people think things like this work.

You can get a decent three sided stone and spend a bit of time on youtube to learn to sharpen properly, these electric grinders are usually for people who view their knives as disposable. It takes away a lot more material that proper honing.

Please don’t use these sharpeners, just get a three sided stone and spend 15 minutes on youtube learning how to sharpen properly. This is just a step above bench grinder sharpening. This is the type of sharpener you use when your knives are viewed as “disposable”.

As far as I know the kirkland brand buys from established distilleries - once I’d read it was macallan 18 I bought a bottle (for 40 bucks!!) and a/b tested them back to back, there was no difference. This was several years ago and perhaps it’s changed, but at that time, I have no doubts it was macallan 18. I’d read
