I had a v8 fiero that I autocrossed for fun. Wide sticky tires and no power steering :D

Anyone have any ideas for how to use Amazon gift cards to buy a Rift or a Vive? I have a few years worth from birthdays, etc. sitting in a desk drawer and it’d be almost expense-neutral :P

wait so they die and wind up at a LAN party?

I’ve gone through a bunch of pairs, modding, etc. - they’re actually unbranded kickers :P - decent phones

Yeah just set aside some cash for a set of nicer ear cushions :D

to clarify, I was using KODI to do the above, except milkdrop - I really wanted to try Winamp :P

ok, it seemed fine - the one hangup was Windows Antimalware was using 40-60% of the CPU right out of the box. After disabling antimalware it was totally happy, and ran what I really wanted, which was fullscreen milkdrop visualizers. I played a 1080p h.264 file and streamed a few HD streams with no real issues. When

No the stick is still pretty decent as long as you aren’t doing 3d stuff on it - I use a few of them for digital signage solutions on a college campus, when the pi’s aren’t quite up to the task. I have a second gen stick coming in probably today, I’ll try kodi on it and see what happens and post back :)

eh they probably just recommend the tic tac container since its nonconductive

The problem there is that in order to bundle windows with bing for free, they need to meet certain specs. You can get a third party meegopad... t07 I think with 4/64, but meego reviews say they come with bogus copies of windows. Personally that doesn’t matter to me, its the hardware I want.

I haven’t tried kodi on an intel stick yet, but kodi works fine on a raspberry pi 2... the intel sticks got a lot more balls so it should be fine.

Does anyone know if the intel stick will do winamp with milkdrop vis fullscreen? Wifes been asking for milkdrop via TV/projector at home. I was running it on the computer and piping it to tv/projector via Steam link, but that doesn’t work super well.

Yeah- go into it expecting nothing more than making someone smile - worst case you meet your expectations, best case they bump you up :)

I worked for (major fruit company) and was at corporate HQ for training - my return flight was cancelled, so I went to look for another flight. The lady in front of me was going nuclear (same flight, also cancelled) demanding first class, etc. I stepped in and... helped her gain some perspective (i.e. this person

I stepped on a pins-up amd k6 cpu one time, it basically velcro’d into my foot :|

hehe glad you didn’t write mem or whatever equivalent ;)

aha the cuts from old isa cards were so bad lol

Well, to clarify, trying to take new people and force them to replicate the prior show will fail. If they can get a new batch of people and that incredibly rare spark of chemistry manages to happen again, AND they let the show grow into it’s own thing... there’s a chance. It has to happen organically though. And
