man thats a quick road to barf town :P

Ah - I forgot to clarify - the in-ears were... not great. All the over-ears I've tried (everything with those ksc drivers, or the non titanium coated version in the portapros) performed well above their price point. I forgot that they even made in ears :)

A good head-fi shootout

Another vouch for the ksc-75's - or really, all Koss headphones. Most of them use drivers big enough that you should get an amp, but the KSC-75's are usually ok. If you really want to "go for it", try some ksc-75's, with the headband mod, and get a fiio e6 portable amp (like 25 bucks or so) - hard to go back to the

Not a powerhouse, but Nissan's VQ series engines. Very reliable, flexible, smooth power. Have had multiple Maximas with this engine and haven't had one last less than 200k. Have one at 319k miles :) the rest of the car's falling apart, but the engine's still (mostly) great.

I don't live in a snowy area - that being said, can you toss a rope over a car and drag it from front to rear to scoop the snow off? Seems like it'd be a pretty quick way. Again, I lack much experience with snow. A piece of softish nylon rope for snow scooping *sounds* like a good idea to my Southern Californian self.

it's just... 15-20% larger than it should be.

haha so true. It's fun sometimes to set things up *exactly* how your told and just let it fail. Make sure their request is in writing and signed though :)

Sounds like a kinda expensive version of the paper wheels! The paper wheels are a compressed cardboard wheel with fine abrasive embedded in it, then a finer wheel that is slotted for cooling, that you coat with chromium oxide.

A mousepad + a good progression of various papers + a strop with chromium oxide will have your edges veeeeery nice.

I always communicate my actions before I perform them, i.e. "I'm going to reach into my pocket and take out my wallet now, ok?". Also, I frequently have a pocket knife in my pocket. I tell the officer right up front - "I have a pocket knife in my pocket. I need to take it out to get my wallet." In my mind - telling

LOVEDmy SRT4. Mid high 13's all day with 1200 miles on it.

lol yeah - it's like that "wake up in the middle of the night and try to check email" blindness that I was trying to avoid lol. Gets me every.danged.time. Like staring at the sun.

lol I'm a big guy and come across as intimidating - yelling my order has been... call it misinterpreted before lol

I thought about it, but I'd rather hand over something I don't mind losing. I'm usually behind 1-2 rows of people at the bar reaching over them. The phone thing makes me nervous. Also, I don't want to ruin the tender's vision as they've likely acclimated to the level of lighting in the bar. I could probably take an

My dream car is a GTS. Keep your modern day supercars, I want a Pantera!

Usually my drink order (4 carbombs!) and orders for a friend or two. I was designated drink getter because I'm big and look mean, so usually get to the front. The strips of paper weren't for me, I figured it stressed the tenders out when I had to yell my order 3-4 times. I just tried out the list of drinks one night,

Well, my order never gets screwed up and I don't have to scream it several times so... success! Also, I don't think being perceived as a deaf mute is negative - perhaps unfortunate, but I have nothing but respect for deaf mutes.
