I have the hardest time explaining to my wife that spiders = good. Spiders are OK - don't go in the backyard and poison them, they keep the bad bugs under control... yet she continues to murder them and complain about moths, mosquitos, etc.

You can get what's called "plumbers tape" - its a roll of thin flexible metal, and you use it like straps. You can cut a length of it, screw one end to the underside of your shelf, wrap it around the adapter, and screw the other end in.

When I buy yellow mustard, it has to be French's. When I buy pickles, they have to be Heinz dill chips. Other than that, I don't care what brand my stuff is!

I've presently got USAA for insurance (car, renters, valuable property (camera gear), motorcycle) and the rates are great - I could save a little money by switching, but the customer service is, to me, more than worth the (slight) extra expense. If you have the option, think about giving them a call.

gotta be careful with that - if you're doing it for weight loss, you can't go too long without eating. Make yourself eat, at least a little bit (hardboiled egg, etc.)

In New York.. where do they keep the bikes? I'm from the opposite coast, but I was under the impression that there was no secure parking anywhere, and nobody had garages. I know this is about baltimore, but I see other comments re: similar groups in NYC.
