I made a similar comment on another forum today! A lot of us are more Rhoda than Mary. 😀

Great Fresh Air interview today. Had to share

I am just curious. Does anyone know when his throne is scheduled for delivery?

I started a (secret) Pinterest board today to upload stories of the shit show of this presidency. I have been busy, because I haven’t seen anything positive yet.

Ours has the perm spot also, but the sale is my favorite. My adult daughter and I usually make an event out of it. Coffee first at the local shop downtown, then the library. Good times!

I have bunches of books to read too. Our local library has a book sale several times a year, and I am probably one of their best customers, but who can turn down $2 hardbacks and $0.75 paperbacks? This is my plan for retirement. Books and wine. That’s what I have planned for my golden years!

The Secret History is one of my favorite books ever!

I had Shaun Cassidy too. And David Soul. And a John Travolta album (not Saturday Night Fever, but I had that too.). Probably my most embarrassing. But now I can’t stop thinking of all the good music....

You can keep Foreigner, but I starred you for the rest of them!

Most of the stuff listed is things my children listened to when they were teenagers. God I am old. Mine were more Grease Soundtrack, Songs in the Key of Life, Debbie Harry, Madonna, Boston kind of stuff.

I didn’t describe it very well, because cocktails, but that’s what I mean. We think we don’t have a lot to say, but our daily lives may interest future generations from a historical point of view. It’s really cool that you found those, because it gives you a better connection to your past. Not just their names, but a…

I keep a journal, because even though I lead the most boring life ever, I realize that 100 years from now someone might find it interesting. Probably dumb, but I find 100 year old descriptions of everyday life fascinating.

Because, why not?

I have been wearing eye makeup since middle school. For lack of a better product, I used Vaseline to remove it. That was 41 years ago, and I still use it. I don’t know if this is what has helped (because I know it is not “good genes”), but I don’t have “crow’s feet”. I firmly believe that going to bed every night with…

My doctor (gastro) recommended Miralax for what he called my “lazy colon”, and it is wonderful. A dose a day, and I am literally good to go.

I agree, and I have done that to a degree. I’ve just been off way too long. (Since 12/22.) Thanks for the suggestions, and you are most likely correct. What I need is to make a schedule. Even if it is “get dressed by 9 am”. I will give that a try.

I know I am probably in the minority here, but I am exhausted with being off work. I don’t go back until Wednesday, and I have no idea what I am going to do with myself until then. I am not a workaholic by any means, but I need the routine. I woke up at 2:30 this morning, because I am not tired enough to sleep 8…

I had a great aunt who had cancer and was near the end when her husband was killed in a car accident. She left the hospital long enough to attend his funeral, went back, was readmitted and died that afternoon. We had been preparing for her to go, but both in the same couple of days was overwhelming.

I scrolled down quickly straight to the comments section. I learned all I needed to know from all y’all. This happens more than I should admit. But it is way more fun!

I give it about a week....
