Good points.

I'm not a Dr. I study the diseases mostly and not the people. That said, I know no reasons not to just go ahead and get a booster based on what I've read. You are correct that in most cases a shot is simpler than a blood test. I don't know the difference in cost off the top of my head though

This is a really good comparison I haven't heard used before. Storing it for future use.

A titer measures the amount of antibodies in a persons blood. It shows if the antibodies are in a higher enough concentration to provide adequate protection

The P is for Pertussis. Arguably the most important part of that vaccine trio, especially if you are going to be around infants.

I've never been so proud of my home town. Well parts of it at least.

Damn right play-do is delicious! We would have been preschool play-do eating best friends.

Well yeah...

Maybe I was, I lost track of all the modules I did online. I don't work there anymore so it doesn't really matter now

My point exactly. I never touched the foo directly in the 6 months I worked there

I try to live up to the name.

pre made and frozen. We literally never touch them directly, gloves into the case and tongs into the oven. We use pastry papers to pick them up

We'll have to agree to disagree. And luckily I don't work there anymore so there is no worry on that front.

No, but in the environment of Starbucks it really doesn't apply. There isn't enough contact with food to pose a significant threat. In fact, the only studies I've found about contaminants on jewelry and increased risk of disease have been done in hospital settings and the results are inconclusive. At this point the

No but I am 3/4 of the way done with an MPH in infectious disease.

We barely handle food, there is no food prep and nothing is touched directly. It does not make any sense in that environment

It wouldn't. Its not like we get our hands all up in food. Its pretty low contact.

I don't really see it as that much of an issue. Wash your hand and it should be ok. Most places don't require you to take off your rings and I've never seen any studies indicating its a problem.

My boss was a he. People covered them up for the district manager yeah but not the store manager

When I worked at Starbucks no one cared about tattoos, My boss had several. The engagement ring thing is ridiculous, a lot of people don't like to take them off and I don't blame them, I would lose it in a heartbeat. I doubt it will be enforced at most locations.
