Am I the only one, or does the front view remind you of the Chrysler 300M? As a 300C owner, the jellybean silhouette is the antithesis of everything that I find appealing, but, it does have a certain presence. Like everything else it may look better in the flesh, so to speak.

Those seats do look comfortable though. I'm sick and tired of German and germanesque cement seats in every automobile. Bring back diamond patterned, button backed pillow tops!!

Poor guy, i assume it was the brushes?

As the owner of a 300C I hope this isn't true. The only things the 300 needs, are a slight fascia freshening a six speed auto, better plastics, softer non German seats, and more rear overhang for increased cargo space and better proportions. This 5 door hatch would be a disaster. The Charger and 300 sell from 4 to 5x

Said it before and I'll say it again. The RR phantom and this car are the only true luxury cars left on earth. They have no worthless manumatics and no idiotic "sports suspensions" that ruin the ride and try to turn something with a 115 inch plus wheelbase into a sports sedan. True luxury is about straight line speed,

Surprises, surprise, most of the comments on there were pathetic crap. I especially liked the "I bought a Chevette in the early 80's so I will never consider another American car" and the "Design an engine that doesn't run on fuel" comments. Computers and internet access should be much more expensive and the fact that

@elwood: NOTHING is more dangerous to people's freedom and democracy's health than a government deciding to do something for the "greater good". Democratic government exists to serve the people not the other way around. The people want the freedom to spend their capital on any vehicle that they need or want. Your

Even though I'm only 20 I love these big cars. My 300C is great but at 197 in long is on the puny side. I can't wait until this stupid sports sedan fad ends. The Rolls Royce Phantom and the Lincoln Towncar are the true luxury cars. No sport packages and their transmissions only need four modes: park, reverse, neutral

@Rishi: That's the most reasoned environmental argument I ever heard. That presentation is much more effective that calling those who like the western lifestyle genocidal gluttonous maniacs.

@harumph: As far as CO2 being a pollutant, I'm not getting into another GW debate, However, looking through my new TopGear I noticed that a 4 banger c class diesel has a hard time avoiding the 226g/km limit. This is not a punishment for they very rich, a middleclass person buying a 6 cylinder diesel or gas would be

@PeteJäyhawk™: The Mustang and 300 are crap are they? Yes, that's why they've won dozens of accolades and awards, grudging respect from the euro snobs, dominate their respective segments and guide and carry their wounded organizations through troubled times

Oh yes, And The Big three will never again have the overwhelming market dominance that they had before the 1980's , there are simply too many makes offering too many automobiles for that to occur again. Of course, if every American were as cool and focused as a 300C, Corvette or Mustang, than who knows.

Yes, let's punish the rich successful business owners and investors. That will spur growth and investment in Britain, which is vital to new technologies and ideas which will decrease waste and increase production. And people wonder why the sun set on the British Empire. There's a lot of Red seeping into the Green

When you buy an Asian or European car, the vast and overwhelming majority of your down and monthly payments go overseas; your money leaves this nation, simple as that. Should this cripple your buying decision, of course not, but facts are facts. Also Detroit's reputation was not destroyed overnight, and it will not be

@LuciferV8: If that were my car and my neighbors did that to it that entire block would be on fire by the end of the evening. Good to see blue state tolerance and respect for the decisions of individuals.

@ZeGerman: Jeremy Clarkson is to automotive analysis and journalism what McDonalds is to cuisine. The Chrysler 300 in all variants is a great car. The performance per dollar ratio is up there with a Corvette or Evo and the refinement per dollar ratio is slightly lower that that of a used VW Phaeton.

@jonnylieberman: How about if he says that the American people shouldn't have bought all those damn SUV's, how about that.

The imperial was not a good looking machine by any means but Chrysler still needs to move up market to stop overlapping with Dodge. Either move the 300C up market or try Imperial 2.0. I hate the fact that it seems that the project was cancelled over fuel economy and environmental concerns, not the weakness of the

If giving up or limiting every single advancement and convenience developed since the 1880's is the price to pay for preventing the globe warming a bit than its not worth it.

These are used not only to start the Blackbird....but also Chuck Norris.
