Somewhat unrelated but since we’re on the topic of chefs and cooking, people should absolutely watch Restaurant to Another World (Isekai Shokudou). It is now free to the general public on Crunchyroll.
The most insidious evolutionary tactics have always been the ones that develop minor resistances slowly and increase that resistance in a way that is unnoticeable because you just don’t feel that it took longer or more effort until it is too late to do anything about it.
I found this Twitter post about what a Japanese person thought about Hollywood adaptations to be highly amusing:
500+ APM (actions per minute) for Rogue. Granted, APM is helpful when you need to pull off crazy micro-management to win a fight but there are a couple of legendary professional Korean Brood Wars players who averaged under 150 APM.
What about replacing the main character with a corgi or a dachshund?
Yeah. I didn’t go to watch the Ghost in the Shell movie but the rest of my anime club did and when they came back, they were kind of divided on their opinion.
Fumoffu was great. The actual sequel, however, is a toss-up. Also, KyoAni was able to take ownership of Bonta-kun from Full Metal Panic and used it to great effect in Amagi Brilliant Park.
This is a GIF that I absolutely need in my life.

Except that Speed Racer was in development hell for 16 years before it finally came out as a movie.
Hmm, I wonder if someone will mod in Fist of the North Star’s Kenshiro into the game.
You should watch Restaurant to Another World. That show will make you hungry every single episode.
Features crossplay. Save files are linked to your PSN account. If you log into your PS4 with the same account and load the game, it should grab the same save files and load it.
2142 was and is still my favorite.
Every week, there’s a new headline about jerks who inundate Steam pages with angry reviews. Sometimes, the protests aren’t even about the game at all, but rather a larger controversy involving a developer or publisher. How did this become the now normal?
I’m personally in favor of the “don’t let Mr Dickhead even get to start mansplaining and go straight for destroying his family jewels” approach.
I guess it is true then that video games are like crack cocaine. That first hit being free and all. :P
