I recognize that its a dying way and that its not reasonable; for most people playing in the now is all they need. But Ive seen too much that servers, companies, and perceived value arent to be trusted. So while I will buy a digital only game, im still heavily invested in physical. 

I prefer physical ... or dirt cheap digital.

Digital is just a long term rental. At any point, your license to the game can be revoked for any reason chosen by the platform/publisher whether it be to licensing rights changes, shuttering of the platform itself, etc so I buy physical copies.

Physical forever! I love having a collection and never having to worry about if a game will disappear from a digital service or be lost when a device kicks the bucket. I only buy digital if that is the only option. That said, I have a feeling this next generation of consoles will be the last with physical media, so…

I have very, very, very few exceptions to my rule that I only buy physical games. And none of those rare exceptions were available physically in any country in the world (nor did I buy them until I could get them at less than half price).

Always have and always will. When they do stop making physical games that will be the day I stop buying new games and just play all the games I have collected and curated over 25 years+ and still going. I still have a monstrous backlog that could last me into retirement and beyond. There is just something so special…
