So now that we’re talking about abusive men, is anyone going to start calling out fassbender?

See, this is the shit that ends up making Taco Bell the only restaurant in the future.
I came in here all ready to argue with the headline (and I still don’t agree with it on a personal level), but the more I thought about it, the harder it is for me to deny that “I Wanna Be Like You” belongs in AT LEAST the top 5 Disney songs of all time.
No, and a thousand times no!
The Onion beat you by ten years.
But then we wouldn’t have Throne of Blood or Ran.
People have been asking “how could someone work with Woody Allen, knowing what they know” for years. Someone who’s actually done so relayed his thoughts on it, particularly because one of the big discussions of the moment is why the film industry so readily turns a blind eye to abuse. There’s worth there.
It wasn’t that it was ‘too soon’. His jokes were lazy and he came off as if he was making light of the issue. Don’t be surprised if you tell a shitty joke about a harasser and the people he harassed aren’t pleased about it.
Can I have Craig Ferguson back, please?
If sarah silverman makes this joke...
I don’t like to pass judgement on a relationship between two adults.
With Ronan Farrow in the news again, I was curious to look up the whole Woody Allen / Soon Yi story, cos I was too young to follow it the first time round. I always assumed Soon Yi was a teenager at the time Woody Allen started dating Mia Farrow. But no, she was aged somewhere between 7 and 9 years old. WTF? Are we…
“And now, here is Casey Affleck to present the Roman Polanski lifetime achievement award to Woody Allen!”
I have a feeling the fact that she was transgender helped the cops not take her seriously.
David O. Russell has also faced his own allegations of abuse from not-performers in the past, given that his teenaged niece accused him of groping her, and he admitted to groping her and the cops apparently didn’t charge him because hey, they weren’t there, man, maybe she wanted it.
Non-parody does not mean non-humourous.
Get off the crazy pills, my friend. The Cheers theme is in the Pantheon of great theme songs.
BLAM!
They also do a new theme every season, so if you don’t like it (it sounds like you’re talking about the first season theme) you just have to wait for S2, whose theme is way better for my money.
Not liking Regina Spektor? That’s a paddlin’. Not liking Firefly’s/Sopranos’/The Wire’s (S1 version at least) theme songs gets you one too. I guess I just don’t get you people.
