I volunteer at my church’s youth group once a week, and a few months ago one of the kids there said that he’d never seen Doctor Who, but he wanted to start because there was going to be a female Doctor.

Silly me, assuming Weird Al would be cast as Willy Wonka and not an entire race of people.

I do, but I’m really trying to forget.

What does it say about me that my favorite moment in this was finally getting to hear what a porg sounds like?

Everything about this sounds like a bad idea, except for the part about David Oyelowo being in a musical, which is an idea so great it makes this project good.

I know what you’re thinking- This WOT! It’s so empty! And soon you sink back into your office chair, perhaps firing up your Disqus profile to relieve all those great conversations we had.

Yeah, I feel like in a lot of Serious Film Circles, Memento is still considered his best.

IS Memento not remembered as fondly or reverently? Devoted Nolanites seem to love it, at least.

What was your favorite one?

While Debate Club will live on in the Disqus WOT, I know that our little corner of the world will never be the same.

Fear not! What's On Tonight lives on in Disqus!

Let's just say that Leto would not be the only victim of Joker-on-Joker violence.

Basically. All the different iterations of the Joker wind up in Gotham City, forcing Batman to team up with the Jokester to stop them.

And yet DC still will not publish my graphic novel Crisis on Infinite Jokers.

I fail to see how a young Tom Cruise and Sean Penn are going to lift your spirits.

But for real y'all, if you haven't already, make sure to bop on down to Nathan Rabin's Happy Place. He does great content every weekday and it'd be pretty neat to see a community gather around there.

The record shows
That Kinja blows
But they have to do it
