After killing Eobard on the night of his mother's murder in Season 4, come Season 5 Barry must don the yellow suit and murder his own mother, before Season 6 when we discover that Barry has to go back in time and become his mother.
Not that I'm a particularly big fan of it, but what do you have against The Little Mermaid?
Maybe this season he can go back to the night of his mother's murder and prevent himself from turning into a selfish dumbass.

In this day and age, it's hard to be blind-sided by a movie, so this probably wasn't the best question. I mainly wanted to stump for The Dinner, which I hope is a good movie, even if I think it's a shame that they're not trying to recapture the book's unique style of storytelling.

The Godfather Part 2 is not bittersweet!
It's not my favorite, but that final scene has a special resonance with me right now. Same with the ending of Moulin Rouge!
I consider Cloud Atlas' ending ultimately more happy than bittersweet, although I think that's partially because I interpret the reincarnation through the lens of the book, rather than what the filmmakers seemed to have intended.
