And so you're back! In Debate Club space!
I think Isabelle Huppert is going to win.
You.
I too enjoyed The Artist.

I honestly don't have a problem with McGregor's singing. It's frankly bizarre that he didn't get an Oscar nomination.
I hope Kubo gets nominated/wins. I didn't even know animated movies were eligible for visual effects awards.
I would say Dr. Strange isn't going to win, but it would be absurd to say that it won't get nominated.
I really, really wanted to love this movie, but (much like The Lobster), it just ran out of steam near the end and left me oddly dissatisfied.

Negative.
Other fun fact- When I saw The Invitation with my dad and my ex, they held a trivia contest before the movie began. I knew the answer to one of the questions was Rope before the lady was even halfway through the question.
I'm a sucker for long, unbroken scenes.
Lending credence to my stop-motion pitch.
God damn it, I haven't had Quizno's since I spent a weekend in Seattle with my ex.
Actually, fun fact about Birdman- The last time I was in a play was a few months after Birdman won Best Picture. I was shocked by how many of my fellow cast members loved that movie.
Right now I'm numbing myself to the fact that Amy Adams will be robbed this year, again.
That's really up to the director.
