Sorry but you’re wrong. California’s murder statute codifies common law murder - only first degree premeditated murder is a “specific intent” crime. Second degree murder is a “general intent” crime.

Umm, no. You don’t.

It can’t be first degree murder (requires premeditation) but it certainly can still be murder - “malice aforethought” includes a reckless indifference to a substantial and unjustifiable risk to human life.

Good for you?

At 65 MPH that’s like 195 miles so I guess you can still do that?

The auto makes it significantly cheaper. Not many people want an auto 996 right now.

I don’t think that’s actually an open question. Video games are easily subject to copyright. Publishers aren’t dumb enough to shut down free advertising for their games though — the way video games are consumed means that having widely disseminated videos of people playing the games is a big boost for a game’s

Same here, I have AT&T gigabit fiber and it’s $70/month with no caps, and includes a free HBO Max subscription. Can’t complain about that.

Investment bankers and biglaw partners chuckle at the thought of a 100 hour work week being “barbaric.

Sorry really was saying the E-Class is a better car in general, not just the E63. When it comes to wagons Jaguar should not hope to compete in the same segment as Benz or Volvo. The Benz (E450) especially just outclasses it massively at that price point.

My point is just how nice the E-Class is in general. Obviously the AMG is gonna be a lot more car underneath but The E450 at a similar price point is pretty objectively a better car than the equivalent jag.

Well the issue is that at this price, you can have an e-class wagon or V90. You’d be crazy to buy this over the E-class. The newer E is so fucking nice. My mom has a new E63S wagon and it is probably the best car I’ve ever driven.

Only a Sith deals in absolutes.

I don’t see how anything you wrote has anything to do with what I was talking about but I have driven a Tesla before sooooo... yeah?

The point I’m making is that longer range and faster charging are always going to be a key selling point for EVs because people who are thinking of replacing their ICE vehicle don’t want to ever have to worry about taking a road trip or forgetting to charge the car overnight (before the roadtrip), etc.

I think the problem to address here is the idea that they want EVs to entirely replace ICE cars. Convenience tends to win out over saving the planet with your average consumer. I can’t always expect that my electric car can reliably take me on a cross-country road trip should I decide on a whim to go; at least not

Many Porsche faithful believe that if you DON’T spend time redlining your Porsche like a proper sports car it is actually going to be a less reliable machine.

Porsches are incredibly reliable though. It’s just expensive when something does break, and things break on any car.
