Not really cool to belittle other victims/survivors like this. There are plenty of victims/survivors who are bothered by this type of jokes, and that doesn’t make them less than.

I am too, but I’m not a prison rape survivor. Even if I was, I would not presume to speak for everyone who has experienced this particular type of trauma, one that is so frequently used as a punchline. Prison rape jokes are not okay.

Nope. Be presumptively respectful of other until and unless people prove themselves to be assholes. It can happen quickly, but there is still a presumption of treating people with basic human dignity.

“Domestic violence” is a legal term of art. There is a difference between being pedantic and precise. 

I get that “Think of The children!!!” is often used to silence valuable speech, but their old policy was literally facilitating and profiting from the sexual exploitation of children. Maybe the new policy goes too far, but I’ll take overprotective measures over measures that lead to a bigger market for child porn.

What if I told you violently assaulting someone is worse than telling a lie about someone, as reflected in the sentencing structures for rape and false allegations? What if I told you that it’s okay to be more upset about a thing that happens at an exponentially higher rate than the other thing?

I think it works because the structure of the top and the soft color of the gown in contrast with her bold hair color and lip color. It’s a very well-balanced look.

Yep. Our society’s view of sex is so INCREDIBLY male-centric that it’s not “real sex” unless a penis penetrates a vagina or anus, sex is “finished” when a penis ejaculates. So of course rape is only real rape when a penis penetrates something.
