Around my neck of the woods, there’s a certain demographic that drives Teslas. FSD is an improvement on their driving.

But how often does Ford gaslight you to say -you- installed two different types of tires on your car?

One of the few occasions where I think this should be a 1 strike you’re out rule. Get caught doing it, get your vehicle impounded. Then you have to pay impound to have it serviced to be put back to factory specs before you get it back.

Rolling Coal. This is just ignorant. Nobody wants to breathe in a cloud of diesel smoke.

The Mustang from Bullitt. The movie is awful* but the iconic car chase is just... bad. It’s like the much-mocked fight scene in “They Live” in that it goes on WAY too long. And in the end, it’s really just wedged, does little to advance the plot, it’s clearly there because the star wanted it.

*Yes, I’ve seen it. I

What I said is still relevant. They were mentioned and I said they were my favorites. Is it a tangent, sure, but so is this entire site. Sorry to add to the conversation, my lord.

Another bunch of greedy assholes ruin a company. Anyone else as sick of VC and hedge funds ruining great companies as I am?  Fucking VC. ARRRGGGH

Some residents have taken to parking their trucks in a pay lot over half a mile from the neighborhood,

For its time, the Citroën DS, no contest. For all time, either the latest Rolls-Royce Phantom or the Mercedes 600 Grosser (which licensed parts of the Citroën technology).

Turbo Brick Wagons. The 850R, V70R, V60 PHEV they’re literally everything you want in practicality and performance.

Weird to not see Volvos on the list considering... Have they just not been tested yet or was there something the IIHS took exception to?

It didn’t look too bad to me honestly. I was in a driver side off center head-on collision in a 1990's Dodge Shadow at at least 100mph combined speed. Now that’s something amazing to survive!

I’ve always loved the “You don’t have enough talent to call out others’ lack of talent” concept. It’s just not based in reality. Fact is I don’t have to be a wolrd-class anything to tell someone else isn’t world-class. I can look at the results, or use my eyeballs and see that a performer is just not up to snuff.

Getting a Toyota Matrix for Pontiac prices is the best move.

Won’t come on here and say the Vibe is exciting, but they were damned good cars.  Nothing wrong with a reliable, no-nonsense hatchback.  Honestly just about the only GM product from any era I’d own again without reservation.

Because employee pay can’t compete with real estate investment firms driving prices through the roof while demand far outstrips demand? So despite the jobs remaining in population centers, these are also the most lucrative locations for landlords and REIFs meaning it’s also the hardest place for income earners to buy.

Have you looked at housing costs in any major US city recently?

I know which one I would still rather have, but the vehicle people deride as a sticker package for a marketing effort kicks the original’s ass in terms of every form of performance, safety, efficiency, reliability, and anything else related to daily use.

That motor was the only thing I truly loved about our 07 Saturn Vue.

The concept vehicle was also a parts-bin special thrown together in record time with the rear suspension of a Buick Rendezvous. In production it was a unit modified from the STS and SRX.
