He said reliable.
He said reliable.
I hark about pedestrians needing to pay attention sometimes, but this is beyond that, this is malicious intent or at the very least gross negligence. And you should never run away, man up and accept it.
You are a classless fucking turd and deserve to die painfully in a fire. Fucking shitstain.
I love hearing people around the country complain about the fact that I don’t pump my own gas and how stupid I am to not want to change that.
“Portfolio Management" sounds like code for a debt collector. They're likely trying to score quick cash from clients in good standing because they're more likely to pay.
But the fact that people don’t want to BE attentive while driving shows how dumb an idea it is to have built all of our transportation needs on driving. Hell, we car enthusiasts SHOULD make this argument more often: the types of cars being bought are clearly not ones made for people who drive because they like to…
cars have become too easy to drive and too isolating
All words assembled as a term are semantics, if we want to get pedantic.
I rode bikes with my family (partner and 3 kids 15 y/o and younger) to fireworks last night. While we were returning home (4 miles through neighborhoods) a driver went around a portion of our group and turned right nearly clipping my 15 and 9 year-old. Mind you were all had a ridiculous amount of lights on and were…
THIS is literally the definition of car-brained. Where you’ll make any and every excuse on why cars are necessary and prioritize cars over changing habits.
Flying through Atlanta in June 2003 to go to my brother’s wedding. Evening flight from Philly delayed 3 hours for weather in ATL. The crew is informed of a window of opportunity so we head to the tarmac only to have the delay last for an additional 90 minutes which times the crew out. Return to gate, get new crew,…
Part of the the reason the Coast Guards of the world don’t seek remuneration is because doing so can lead to people not calling when they’re in trouble.
The submarine in question (Titan) is equipped with a 2D Teledyne sonar and 96 hours of life support for a crew of 5. It is also equipped with a “state of the art Real Time Hull Monitoring System”. One would hope that the data from the “RTM” is transmitted to the support vessel; otherwise I’m not sure what the point of…
As someone who had to bike to work for 3 years because i couldnt afford a vehicle: Fuck you.
Cycling is absolutely a viable form of transportation. Especially in a crowded flat town like Kalamazoo.
So... I grew up in Kalamazoo. My mother was a professor at WMU and my dad worked for Upjohn. My bike was my everything and there are a decent amount of riders in this portion of town.
Die mad, alone.
Lower the speed limit to 15, put in some giant, suspension eating speed bumps, and MAYBE this will work. But really, why not just go full Berkeley and put concrete barriers down the middle every other block? Then cyclists can go through, people who live on the street can enter near their house to park, and it’s not a…
The overwhelming majority of people who claim to speak for the overwhelming majority don’t know what the overwhelming majority actually wants.
Sounds ok considering that at just 5 seconds a lap faster, that’s almost a half hour by the end of the race. That time accounts for normal pit stops in that class where cars are stopping 10-12 times. Tack on 2 additional stops just for fuel and you’re still well ahead of everyone else in your class.
