Secret of NIHM and the Dark Crystal, you’re damn right! With an honourable mention to Watership Down, which should top the list but it was not a kid’s movie and I never should have watched it when I was eight.
Okay, I’ll bite: That, um, Dark Crystal, and... The Secret of NIMH?
Nooo! She was Dorothy in Return to Oz, the third creepiest children’s movie of all time!
I know! I drive by it on a regular basis, and almost every time I’m still kind of surprised that it’s still there.
So how do they compare with Caterpillar’s “Shake Hands With Danger”?
My 3rd favorite training when I was in the Navy was when they didn’t know what else to cover, so they repurposed some Army jungle survival training videos. In case our ship ever sank in a jungle, I guess.
I skimmed this really quickly and couldn’t quite figure out what you thought he was saving NK from.
Paget Brewster is great in Another Period, too (and gave one of the greatest line readings ever).

I take it you’re unemployed.

I’m on my lunch break at work, and I think it’s rude to watch videos in public without headphones. My extensive study of several people recc’ing an older comment about how nobody likes to watch videos of they could just read the information instead supports my annoyance.
Andy Richter Controls the Universe was a good show. He should work with Paget Brewster again.
Only film of his I’ve watched is Breaking The Waves and that was enough for me. Just a miserable, bleak movie.
It does seem like all anyone talked about was the damn swan dress, and not the movie.
I haven’t watched it yet, but I’m glad to hear Cecily Strong had a good show. I feel like she’s been continually kicked to the curb since she lost the Weekend Update slot.
Especially the alien abduction skit where she talks about “porky pigging it in a drafty dome”
There’s a typo in this article: The director of The Juniper Tree is Nietzchka Keene.
