I'm thinkin they might be saying... If you dumb enough to stay with an idiot... at least don't egg your idiot on to become an abusive idiot.

Of course you stand by your words, you have nothing else to stand by.

Right that's what I thought.

No not really bc I'm not sure what I'm speaking about has been measured in any real academic sense. Feel free to send me the links of studies done so I can read for myself then I'm sure id feel a lot better.

proportional responses are indeed very virtuous... just not very realistic.

Are you a member of my community?

It's not ok & neither myself Stephen A or Whoopi is saying it's OK, but what we are saying is don't expect to hit people & not get hit back.

Well I think you've just hit an important point. To you being slapped is just "annoying"...

You SERIOUSLY wanna be the only Black person on gawker don't you??

Understood. But just don't be surprised if he hits you back is all I'm thinkin Whoopi is saying.

See you're a child. Look how I got yo dumb ass running around to each and every person telling them shit about me! Motherfucker you just a hhhhhaaaaaatttterrr! Bbbwwwwahahahahhahaha!!

WOW. Right. I can believe it.

I'm speaking solely for myself, however there are many Black websites available for you to visit. They ALL have comment sections for you to view. The Stephen A story is running on ALL THE BLACK news & gossip sites as he is a well respected member of our community.

Thats bc your dumb ass has yet to experience the range of opinions and experiences that exist within the ENTIRE Black Diaspora.

Right. But my comments where geared more toward why Whoopi may have chimed in, not the event itself. What's your thoughts on her comments?

Right on Duck Duck.

Right. I also wonder the same thing. There are just some communities that just don't play that. They believe no matter what a woman does you shouldn't strike her...

Yea and that may be Stephen A's deeper point. The fact is a woman should leave an abusive relationship because after all it was a decision of "taste" to get involved to begin with.

It could be just a culture thing. Not speaking for all African Americans but one time a girl slapped me and before I could get the whole story out my mother said

I think it's COMPLETELY POSSIBLE.
