Eh. It’s nice, but not 699$ nice. And for 700 bucks I kind of expect it to respect the lore a bit better, too, which, her killing a forktail isn’t the best example of that. (Not that she couldn’t. Just there’s much better options that would make more sense for her character and add more to the scene/statue.)

The unicorn costs extra.

Disagree on that. The first is definitely worth your time just as much as the second. Both quite different, and the first definitely more old-school, and though you don’t need to play either to play 3, I definitely recommend them. They’re both classics, and worthwhile.

I genuinely don’t know why, but I really, really hate bandannas.

Not just that, but literally keep him on deck, not in a prison cell?

Unless they want to do a really major RetCon, he's not at Jakku.

If you've read the Aftermath trilogy, they very briefly mention Thrawn, and imply that beyond his main talents, the main reason the Emperor was interested in him, was for his familiarity with the madness of unknown space (since he's Chiss, who come from there), as the Emperor was trying to find a way to plot through

If we're going based on some of the old EU concepts (which they do seem to at least be drawing from, at this point), I'd say something/someone potentially connected to the Ancient Sith Empire / he's possibly some remnant or the last remaining Sith Emperor?

Huh. That was…, kind of mostly disappointing, considering past season finales and stuff. Was hoping for something a bit more. Oh well. Thrawn survived, which was nice. Didn't feel like there was really much in the way of stakes, though.

Ah, Sapkowski. Grumpy old man. Talented writer, though.

While it’s true he screwed himself out of making money from the games as far as royalties, to say he hasn’t got anything from them is disingenuous. Sales of the book series have gone up significantly as the games have increasingly drawn praise and done well over

Well, there is only a couple years between ANH and ROTJ… So…, like, the A-Wings are fairly new tech. But yeah- I get what you mean.

Yeah. They also used some unused footage of Wedge and some other pilots from ROTJ and the like, IIRC. Pretty cool. There are some articles out there somewhere, about it.

The voice-over does specifically refer to it as a drake...

Played the beta some, and also listened to a few standalone tracks they released before launch, and the video about the making of the soundtrack. It looks to be a nice stand-out, actually.

Wait. What? They're related? Spoilers, man…

I mean, admittedly, I think to an extent, he's kind of beyond everyone's expertise. His case is remarkably unique, complex, dangerous, and powerful, which is why he's so important. But who else would there be? I mean, even if Xavier were to show up, I don't think he'd be qualified for this either, exactly.

I think it has something to do with her experiencing his body/powers. She somehow has a connection to them/the experiences tied to them.

Yeah. Exactly. Like, yes, he's an absurdly powerful mutant, with multiple powers. But there's no reason who couldn't have a personality disorder or schizophrenia also, which could even more significantly affect his powers?

Honestly, this isn't just one of the best pieces of TV I've ever seen, which is a hell of an achievement in and of itself, but it's also the best X-Men anything I've ever seen. Even the best of the movies aren't even remotely close to this.

Damn.
