As a current Mazda dealership parts manager, I can confirm that an RX8 is a great car for technicians and parts departments, especially if it is a 2002-2008 Series 1 model. (the 2008-2012 are much better, but still need to be treated with lots of love, care, and a deep pocketbook).

It’s pretty common to get one in

Possibly one of the most underrated bands ever from the early 90's, alongside Paw.

I first heard about HUM when Chino Moreno talked about how “You’d Prefer an Astronaut” was a major influence on the early Deftones material.

It’s very fitting that I just made this the other day...

For you and everyone else like myself that wondered about this Caravan. I found an article from Ralph Gilles wife, Doris Gilles that mentions the van and uses the same picture.

just as a slight aside, can we refer to Dave Coleman and Mike Kojima as the former gods of Sport Compact Car magazine in any article they are mentioned in? I kept my SCC subscription for as long as I did back in the day, simply because of Dave and Mike’s tech articles, and Dave’s generally off the wall and hilarious

Land Rover? You are brave and much more foolhardy than I!

please please please buy one to park it at David Tracy’s house. I would pay to see it. the only problem might be that David would steal it to take it offroading at Moab..

I too, would read a full-blown Jalopnik article about this Van. More details please!

Actually I really wish I had imported an early 2000's Nissan Patrol with the TB48DE engine. Those things are the best off-road SUV Nissan ever built. Australia knew where it was at and keep them long into production until a year or two ago.. Japanese built Nissan/Infiniti products seem to have better build quality and

This. All of this. Nissan has lost it’s way entirely. The new Titan was a disaster as well. Massive quality control issues, recalls galore, and don’t get me started about the Diesel version grenading engines/turbos while we were getting them off of the auto haulers before PDI..

I’ve had mine for about 7 years (i’ve been at Mazda for 2 years since I left Nissan) and I’ve done all the specified maintenance and put 87,000kms on it (bought it around 100k). In that time, I’ve replaced the entire front and rear suspension, an entire airbox assembly for cracking and falling apart, the rear pinion

as a former Nissan and Infiniti parts tech of over 7 years. Nissan stopped making good vehicles around 2003. I own a 2008 Nissan Xterra Off-Road with a 6 speed manual. I love it, but it’s broken as often as a Land Rover.

As a long-long-long term dealership parts department employee, calling Mitsubishi dealers for parts is an exercise in patience and futility. This alone has made me never want to own a Mitsu product, because many of the dealers have shady pricing practices, like to substitute aftermarket parts for OEM numbers, and

I do not endorse this beyond that it works. But add some Lucas Oil Stabilizer to your cheap oil and start using something beyond 10w30 like 15w40.

Signed, a guy that owned a puking rear main seal 3.0L 2003 Ford Ranger for 2 years.

As a former Nissan parts technician of 7+ years that made the jump over to Mazda (a Japanese brand that still knows it’s enthusiast core, still makes parts for old Miatas and RX-7's, and makes most of it’s cars and parts actually in Japan) Nissan has become everything that i hated about the domestic brands.

Now

1993 Dodge Viper. I wanted a Viper then, and I still want one now..

You good sir, totally get it. I want this to be a real thing.

This is a bloody amazing comment that just made my day.

Yes they do, towing invisible trailers.

COTY. Comment of the Year.
