Tragic! We did the same drive every year from New England down to spend time with the family in Florida. If we didn’t get to stop, we would have made life unlivable for our parents - and we made them stop in both directions! Once we even stayed at the more because it was our midpoint. Actually looked at the current 3-series sportwagon when we replaced our 2010 A4 manual sedan. Ended up buying the X3 because it was still fun to drive and had way more usable space, plus at that point what the hell. Would have rotated the 2007 out first but there were no manual wagon options to be had anymore.
