Damn, I’m not fan of asset seizure laws, mainly because our legal system has been known to abuse them, but if there was ever a case for taking this guy’s car away... Lots of people pointing out that taking his license away is good but you don’t need a license to drive a car. So, take his car too.

Goddamn, the cars just look so much better going through a corner with a clean line instead of having their ass hanging out EVERY. F**KING. TIME. I am so tired of drifting.

Florida Grande

GREAT movie. Loved the notion of a regious order charged with containing Satan/evil/whatever calling in a team of physicists to stop him.

My first trip to Hong Kong was in 1989. We landed at Kai Tak, at night, in the rain. My face was plastered to the window and all I could think was “my God, we’re landing on the Blade Runner set.”

Maybe it's just the decade+ of getting used to the Veyron, but I think this is far and away the most successful they have been at adapting the vintage Bugatti design language to a modern car. I could never say I was a fan of the styling of the Veyron, EB110 and various prototypes, but this looks great.

What a surprise to see this here, I love this book. I bought it for my son years ago way before he was old enough to read it just to make sure it was on his book shelf. He turns 8 next month so I think we’re about ready.

Truly impressive, though the full-sized one can lift over 800 tons. I would have thought this one could hoist a bit more given how good a job they did on it. I’m sure there are practical concessions made in its construction towards being able to transport it.

My faith in humanity is very slightly restored knowing Hackers only has a Rotten Tomatoes score of 32. I know it’s a guilty pleasure for many (and lord knows I have many of my own) but damn it’s a horrible movie.

Rosebud Boogaloo?

Love the 480! It wasn’t sold in the US but they were strongly thinking about it. There were a few of them running around Fairfield County Connecticut (close to NYC/NJ) in the early 90s as testers. I used to see them all the time and I wanted one so badly. I remember reading at the time that they were pretty serious

I’ve always loved these. They are kind of the gold standard for Trilogy artwork. The originals are insanely expensive.

Like the woman who sued her nephew and son of her deceased sister for $180K last year over an injury when he hugged her - as covered by Gawker and causing everyone to get all heated up.

Go for it. Not that I advocate it but you can sell them on EBay later if you change your mind and get most/all/more of your money back.

Thanks to my addiction, which was started by io9, I’ve bought enough from Bottleneck that I got to pre-order these a few days ago. My first purchase from them was actually Ferguson’s previous Star Wars set.

They give me these for free every time I buy pods - either as a drop off version when I am at the store or a prepaid UPS version. What could be simpler. Really, you need to mention stuff like this in fairness.

1) You have no idea what I’m doing.

Yeah right! And fuck those stupid freedom riders who tried to do something about segregation in the 60s too. We should always shun the majority, even when they agree with us and try to use their positions to help and do the right thing. They’re just in it for the cookies.
