I don’t think we’re missing anything. It’s definitely a blatant cash grab. And I mean, sure, I get it - it’s a total lazy indulgence. If you can afford upwards of $50 for a sandwich and some chips, what’s another few bucks? But it’s just gross.

I think you don’t understand the process, as evidenced by your many posts about this. Nobody is saying we shouldn’t treat ill animals. That you think that’s what this is about is laughable.

But the problem is not that they are being treated with antibiotics if they happen to fall ill. The problem is that the animals are pumped full of antibiotics for their entire existence as a *preventative* measure. Because it’s more cost-effective. And that’s not a good thing, no matter how you try to spin it.
