We never made people feel ugly for smoking that I recall. I smoked and quit for health reasons, but I don’t remember being shamed as though I were stupid, weak or ugly for smoking.

It really is the worst cycle isn’t it: feel bad = eat = gain weight = feel bad = eat. Ugh. Made worse when I quit smoking :(

There is a middle ground! Men can speak without mansplaining - it’s called being supportive. The fact that so few know how to do that is so sad.

It’s like they literally don’t know how to be supportive. Not be in the spotlight, not make it about them, but truly SUPPORT women. Sad.
