Awesome!

Wow, Tennessee Tuxedo and Mandrake in the same day?  An embarrassment of riches from my childhood.  Can the Gil Thorp movie be far behind?

C'mon, Chumley!

Tennessee Tuxedo will not fail!

You all need to shut up, he has the talking stick.

Does this mean that Buffy, Jody and Cissy died in a Cardassian labor camp?  And what about Mr. French?

Happy Birthday!  Saw "Spring Awakening" on Broadway a few years ago and loved it.

I often pray before I lay down by your side;
If you receive your calling before I awake,
Could I make it through the night?

Arrggh!

It's a good thing Don got that kite removed from his shoulder.  It would have hampered his solo career.

"Cherish" has the distinction of being two of the worst songs ever written, both with the same title.

Did you stab it with your steely knife and fail to kill it, perhaps?

If you tend to like acoustic music, there's a live CD called "Celtschmerz" which has mostly really good versions of many of his best songs.

Oooh, I'm a lover!  Mama was, Grandmama, Papa too…

"This is what happens when you find a stranger in the Alps!"

If you want Terrible Ted (the Motor City Madman) to participate, you're going to have to put together a season of "Celebrity Most Dangerous Game".

By the shores of Bitchy Gumee,
By the shining Big-Sea-Water…

I don't think I would call Kathleen Edwards' usual work "sparse folk".  There's some of that, but some of her stuff rocks pretty hard, especially live.  I'm sure I'll be picking this up.  I'm hopeful, as every one of her records has a few songs that I really like.

"Porklips Now" shouldn't be included, since it's a parody and not a reference, but that's neither here nor there.  It is, in any case, awesome:
