Another option would be a number next to it to indicate the number of faults detected. It would also be nice if they didn’t force you to get a code reader and instead just always had a “faults detected” menu.

I don’t get the guy’s game plan at all. “Huh, someone left a less than perfect Yelp review; I know, I’ll just go to their home in the middle of the god damn night, angrily knock on their door, blow up their voice mail, and get this whole mess sorted.” Is this maybe some cultural misunderstanding that I’m not parsing

I’m originally from California, but I lived in New Jersey (Mercer County) for about five years. I’m back in CA now, but no Italian food I’ve had since I’ve been back even remotely comes close to what I had out in Jersey. And you’re right, it’s got nothing to do with being fancy. I had the best eggplant parm I’ve ever

I feel like Taylor Swift isn’t getting as much blame in all this as she deserves.

And yet I promise Taylor Swift will do nothing to denounce the white-supremacist that consider her the reincarnation of Freya because she likes them racist duckets.

I hope daddy gets some jail time.

Thank you for putting this all in one place.

“He was allowed to do that after he assured deputies that he would keep them secure and away from Travis”

I don’t know about everyone else, but I count FIVE presidents in that picture.

Lol “under performing” doesnt mean making a loss. Under performing means they arent making a shit ton of money...only a boat load of money.

Imagine reading this whole thing and being like, “You know what? I’m going to point out some of the inaccuracies I’ve spotted.”

Technobabble doesn’t bother me, although any time someone talks about “hacking the mainframe” it’s an eye roller.

You are right! But think about the target audience... They are human. Hollywood is doing their best.

I wouldn’t call myself a ‘smart person’, per se, but I am a full stack developer and, as such, often need to use precise and technical words to convey my thoughts. I can definitely confirm that I, and my peers, always talk with as simple words as possible, until we realize there is any confusion.

At least they had two scientists doing the technobabble. I’m still wondering if there was a script error in Ragnarok:

While this might appear as “cute” I see this as obnoxious. Here’s a chance for her to show how intelligent she is without showing how patronizing she is.

I find it funny that the writers think really intelligent people would throw shade at each other in this way. It’s like Einstein calling Max Planck a dummy for not coming up with the theory of special relativity.

I agree with this to an extent.
While I don’t like techno babble, I also hate over-simplification.
Example: In “The Core” (a terrible movie) they demonstrate what would happen to the Earth without an atmosphere by using a fire and a can of hairspray to roast a peach. Its a painfully stupid example for stupid people.

Look, I like the character, I like what they’re doing with her, but I fucking HATE technobabble. Technobabble undermines a character’s intelligence. People who want to SOUND smart like to use big words to explain simple things; people who are ACTUALLY smart can use simple terms to explain complex problems.
