As is often the case, these and previous layoffs weren’t necessary. Activision Blizzard leadership could have easily taken pay cuts or, at the very least, declined bonuses in favor of contributing to the paychecks of these now-jobless workers.

I think the concept of a starter home is non existent now as people no longer are getting married and have a kid and moving to the ‘burbs in their early 20s.  They wanna live in a city and have fun and roommates, then they might be mid career, dual income families by the time they are looking to buy their first home.

one thing that’s funny about this debate: i’ve been on-site at a number of industrial facilities where driving safety is always of utmost importance. i have seen signs that say Back In ONLY and Do NOT Back In for their parking.

i’m an urban dweller and hitches on vehicles that street park are one of my biggest peeves.  always thought about it, but never had the balls to actually pull the pin though.
