Yeah, as a comics geek and big fan of Oswalt, as a comedian and a person, MODOK was kind of a letdown, so I’m not sorry about it being cancelled.

This is a shame but not a surprise. I feel like this show hit its creative peak around the time the unicorn bit off Gary’s nipple, and that the whole Arrowverse never recovered from the production strain of making Crisis, followed by the pandemic.

Wasn’t Peyton Reed actively campaigning for the job before Watts was announced? Seems like an obvious replacement.

I didn’t really notice how ugly it was until the second time I saw it, which was on the big screen. It was painful.

I love Lynch and I love his willingness to admit now that shooting a feature film on DV was a stupid fucking idea. I think Inland Empire is a phenomenal movie, but christ, is it ugly.
