Is it even a fair comparison? How about we give Whedon 4 hours and a basically unlimited budget. I am sure he could come up with something better than that Snyder cut mess. And it wouldn’t be 4x3.

I had closed captioning on, and I swear [ancient lamentation music] was on my screen about 500 times.
>First, I was shocked that it wasn’t divided into parts for more convenient viewing
That WW theme is just so bad and so intrusive. It's tragic.
As someone who didn’t find the Whedon Justice League as bad as I was expecting it to be, this movie, basically being a longer version of that, was equally “not as bad” as I thought it would be. But the stuff that was clearly reshot after the fact should have stayed in storyboards. Martian Manhunter scenes were…
Ho-lee shit.
Well, that was more or less exactly what I expected out of a 4 hour, R-rated unrestrained Snyder-fest. I’m actually shocked there wasn’t more swearing. I assumed he’d be dropping F-bombs all over the place.
It’s been mentioned a lot, but the slow-mo was downright comical. Especially the slo-mo plus needle…
I didn’t hate Whedon’s Justice League. It was a mess, sure, and all the humor was covered with flop sweat but, in the end, I was happy that it wasn’t another drab, joyless slog that all of Snyder’s other DCEU films were. If it weren’t for its history, it would be a low-fine, albeit forgettable, popcorn flick.
Snyder’s…
CREATIVE INTEGRITY!
Not counting the fact that we saw the full latte art being made.
I’ve only watched the beginning so far...
What a fucking slog. The only interesting part was the bit of Flashpoint/Injustice future narrative, and that was only in comparison to the 3 hour and 50 minute trash heap that preceded it. Snyder was clearly more invested in the storyline than the rest of it. The closest point of comparison for me is Richard Donner’s…
Some positives:
As long as when they start fresh they keep “Shazam!” and the creative team behind it. For me that was by far the best of the bunch.
A lot of comparison of Snyder’s cinemetography skills here to Joss Whedon’s, and the DCEU’s to MCU’s in general, but has Snyder ever given us anything in these movies even close to the first shot of the Avengers assembled in Whedon’s first Marvel movie? Or even the shot of them charging into battle in his second? I…
I mean Suicide Squad clearly is the victim of some horrendous editing- the pacing is completely fucked up.
“That fellow teen will be the death of me!”
How sad is it that the android from 2004's I, Robot still looks better than DC’s Cyborg?
wow, nice to see an authentic young person on here.
Ray Fisher’s 15 minutes ends March 18, this is the 14:59 point of his fame and relevance.
