The dumbest aspect of the culture wars - it forces “sides” to embrace mediocre talent they didn’t really like.  Leftwingers (like me) have to pretend Griffin isn’t a mediocre, hacky comic.  Rightwingers are getting all in on Tim Allen.  Bizarre times.

I’m pretty sure they were deleted and I’m pretty sure they came up years ago and James Gunn apologized. At least The Mary Sue seemed to find his apologies sincere (for this or something else).

The childish, idealistic part of me is hoping that Disney actually walks this back, saying that the firing decision was prematurely made by some executive, or something. I mean, seriously, they have hired so many people who have made horrible, tasteless jokes at some point in the past, that would be easy to find.

Poking around, I’m starting to discern that Gunn did delete these tweets, but they were of course stored in some other search engine (the Wayback Machine maybe?) and these right-wing assholes dredged them up from there.

Cernovich’s tweets are worse. He should stop pointing his fucking finger when he basically calls for genocide.

Honestly, then you should have screen-capped the tweets yourself and posted them, or linked to somewhere that did. It’s intellectually dishonest to put up this article without showing what he actually said.
