Funny coincidence: was watching M*A*S*H reruns last week, including the episode about Henry Blake’s fling with a Ohio State co-ed. The best scene in the entire episode is a death-jogging Henry gasping for breath while hair dye drips down the side of his face, just like Giuliani.

Based on what’s being reported, that seems to be the direction SCOTUS is going, and that includes Roberts and (shocked face) Kavanaugh.

The only thing that I can think of is that, even though I don’t think he’s a particularly intelligent individual, I do think the Orange Menace does understand the value of optics, to a certain extent. Going after a dead veteran with no significant scandals on his personal or professional resume is a really bad look.…

I doubt Biden will pardon him, maybe not actively sic the DOJ on him, as that would be “improper”, but I assume he’ll let NY and whoever else wants to investigate/charge him with anything do their thing.

Strangely, the one thing I really missed about smoking when I quit were the great conversations I had with fellow smokers. These were people who I had never met, and would likely never meet again, yet we were fellow pariahs borrowing each other’s lighters.

Both my parents wrote in Bernie in 2016 (mom loathes HRC, dad couldn’t care less, and both despise the Orange Menace). It’s funny seeing my Orange County living, former Reagan Republican ‘rents going over to the dark side. I haven’t had a chance to check in with them yet but pretty sure they both went Biden this time.
