He’s just supremely focused, paying attention. Not too easy, he just makes it that way. Just watch his hands in the video above...
Check out his hands doing the MAGIC...
It is actually easy. All you need to do is to spend better part of your life driving rallye cars as Walter has done. That’s all...
INDEED, it’s Bilster-Berg (www.bilster-berg.de) near Bad Driburg. Build on a deactivated NATO base some 200km from Düsseldorf, 150km from Hannover or 270km from Frankfurt. Walter helped to design it.
If you have not read the whole article, where the totally inappropriate word is used, IMHO, at least read just the last sentence, since he used it again there...
NOT a chrome-looking paint but a polished alloy.
VERY PUT OFF by your TOTALLY INAPROPRIATE and ABSOLUTELY UNNECESSARY profanity, Mr. Petrány. You ought to be ashamed of yourself and appologize to Jim. He most certainly does NOT deserve it. Puzzled...
WHY extra for a diesel engine? Does not make sense?!?
At race tracks and fuel shops specializing in race fuels, even in California, you can buy some VERY POTENT stuff for your tank straight out of their pumps and barrels. But be prepared to pay at least TWICE the price for that fuel. Remember also, these race fuels are made for very high compression engines, so they…
AGREE 100% After all he is not a robot. Leading the race, with but 10 laps to go, if he used his head a bit, could just ignored that pit call for one more lap, as there were clearly to be number of them reparing that corner, and questioned the call for an entire lap before either pulling into the pit or circulating…
Perhaps that $155M contract Hamilton just signed with Mercedes-Benz, for the next three years of his services, may have nicely contributed to his restraint, no doubt...
Than, when an opportunity presents itself, you may suggest to Jim to take those TELEPASS ONLY lanes (if present) as they are considerably wider to navigate since one can pass through them at speed.
Usually, just lowering the window will do, to get to the machine, if your arm is long enough to reach to put in the ticket first, credit card second, in its slot. The trick, though, is to get close enough yet NOT to scrape your wheels... Oh, on the other hand, some pay barriers also have stacket pay machines for truck…
... let alone GT2RS!
Albeit not answering your question, this GT3RS being so incredibly capable, just makes me wonder whether we will ever see another GT2 anytime in the near future . . .
As far as rear seats in any standard 911 body are concerned, they really are not practical for almost anything but some soft bags. If you have a proper fitting very young kid’s seat(s), perhaps too. Or, a seriously determined kid who wants to come along anyway, when another person is occupying the passenger seat…
I STAND CORRECTED - just looked over that photo of Jim’s car APPROACHING that booth more carefully and seeing the RED and WHITE BARRIER being ALREADY up, clearly, Jim has a TELEPASS in that car, as the barrier is NEVER UP unless the TELEPASS reader already detected one.
May I respectfully ask you, what do you mean “TECHNICALLY”...?
Those Italian toll booths take all kinds of credit cards, beside money. Also, you can buy VIAcard at any petrol station and use it just like a credit card, slide it in, the machine spits it out in about a second or two, the barrier raises and off you go. However, THE VERY BEST is TELEPASS - a bit more expensive…
