The Grandfather of ALL cool Renault sedans that came after this one. No one but those who have driven it would NOT believe how utterly GREAT this little sedan really was... Boy, was it BLAST to drive!!! Will NEVER forget!

Flares - an interestingly, modern interpretation, IMHO.

AGREE totally! It has to be the BEST combo - everything done to it is just so right, including wheels. Not much of a fan of different wheels from the original issue, since those are such incredible part of any significan car’s overall appearance (just look at the McL F1LM at the very top...) but these, on the silver

How about Dennis Palatov’s brillianty designed, superbly light weight ‘Made in Portland, Oregon’ cars (http://www.palatov.com/) that are spectacular and trully a joy to drive?

The ROCKET, of course! And, it’s a TWO seater too! Remember, Gordon’s as well as Howden’s kids driving one in the Euro Cannonball Rallye one year. Met them quite by accident while passing through Paris on their way South and again at the N-Ring, on the way back. Just after saying “Hello to your dads!” those lads went

BAC Mono - could NOT believe my eyes seeing one in real easpecially on Pacific Coast Hwy in Malibu going North, just past Cher’s stately mansion. That pilot must have been headed to one of the canyon roads just past the traffic light at the 76 Union station. Pretty COOL driver but the price...

An interesting NEW interpretation of extended fenders on an Audi, since the Sport Quattro. A lot to be liked there, to be sure. But, high speed, aerodynamically-speaking, not so much.

Furthermore, electrically-driven, turbocharger-like air pumps are usually autonomous - no longer requiring a flow of exhaust gases, being driven entirely by electricity alone. Very interesting thechnology, indeed.

It’s coming - wait till IAA Frankfurt this year, most likely.

Here, the BIG tail pipe of the Evo. Surely looked the business in the ‘70-’80s...

Was fortunate to drive the Evo while delivering the standard car back to Boreham’s Ford Motorsport UK Headquarters in Essex for some additional work needed. The EVO was an absolute blast to drive. The ASTOUNDING part was high-speed drives over some building foundations. W

YES, indeed, it’s definitely coming, the Grand Turismo! It’ll be positioned between Panamera and Cajun. A Pajun, perhaps... It’ll be available with electric fuel cell as well, good for 3-400 kms (180 - 250 miles), apparently.

Evolutions had 3-piece wheels and an ENORMOUS tail pipe. So, a side shot and/or rear shot would be better for an ID, whether the one in the photograph is it. Incidentally, just the very special 600+ hp engine of the Evo cost the same amont of money as the entire road-going homologation car!

... make pretty neat table lamps, of course.
