I'm a Porsche guy, but really like the R8. Having not driven the R8, there's simply no way I can answer the question. That said, it would be hard for me to say no to a GT3RS.

Well, that does it. If I ever get tired of the top on the Spyder, this is what will replace it.

Sadly for Honda, it looks like there was no fighting in the design room.

Which is worse?

Meanwhile, deep in the bowels of Toyota City, Lexus engineers are fretting over this new headlight gap.

Krell? No shit? The amplifier could weigh more than the transmission.

WTF Honda? Have you just given up? It looks like a stretched Chrysler 200.

You could get the 550 & 904 as road cars, but to be fair, those sold for road use were extremely rare. Have you ever seen a picture of the 550 'top' that was included on the cars sold for the road? If not, Google it for a good laugh.

Yeah, they may have one of the lowest option prices for ceramic brakes of anyone, which is surprising considering what they charge for some options, as you pointed out.

Awesome.

$8500 I believe. Look for the yellow calipers.

The first mid engined Porsche? How about the first car they built? How about the 550 or the 904?

And they are surprisingly comfortable and usable as a daily driver despite the capabilities as a track car.

I agree 100%. Porsche will always have plenty of buyers for the 911 because they are 911s. If they built a superfast Cayman RS or whatever, they would bring in a) buyers who don't want a 911 for whatever reason or b) a 911 guy who now wants one of the hot new Caymans. Not losing any sales either way. Despite all

Travis, when they have the official introduction today, don't forget to ask if they have any plans to build a roadster version.

I'll be in my bunk...

It's all dreamsicle-ly and stuff.

Yep, you win. The UPS truck never has trouble finding a spot to park in front of my house.

I wonder how much the range is reduced when you turn on those Freightliner sized headlights?

I'll nominate the Sam Houston & Hardy toll roads around Houston which are limited to 65 mph. The average speed is about 80 and has been for years. The speed limit should be changed to 75 to reflect this.
