Quite simply because it's what makes you happy.  We get one shot at life, so enjoy it while you're here and don't wait for a tomorrow which might not occur.  All within reason of course.

I've driven a PDK equipped 911 on the track and it is phenomenal, but I'm not ready to give up the shift lever and clutch yet.

Chevrolet's move to only using body side molding on the doors of their single cab pickups.  Either put it on both panels, or don't install it at all.  This just screams 'cheap'.
