Not gonna deny there’s some really good country out there. However, most of it sounds like poppy dreck. The good stuff, as with most music these days, requires effort to find.

I just had to chime in and say this entire thread between you and Arnheim has been nothing short of amazing. The post secondary education system in the US has been a soap box issue for me since my own bitter undergrad days. Just I wish either of you had been around then.
