From what I’ve read, it isn’t Sony that is uninterested in doing more with the Franchise.  The dudes at Naughty Dog just moved on.  Like I read an interview about it with them saying, while they love the franchise, it’s just not where they are creatively anymore.  I gave up hope after that, so this is a major blessing…

This is NOT an aberration in the history of Github’s startup/corp behavior.  They have  ZERO understanding of HR and it hasn’t improved since the beginning.

I agree Steam’s been trash for a while, but I usually rely on isthereanydeal.com to find good buys.  Plus my backlog (which includes a ton of retro stuff) is so large that I have no issues waiting quite a while for something interesting to go on sale to fit my budget.  Not like I need the online crowd to still be hype…

I was all in on Sony from ps1 to ps2. Then Blu-Ray happened and I sat on the PS3 for a while. Then I got both PS3 and XBox 360. I’m still with Sony for all the exclusives, but I skipped both PS4 AND whatever MS released last gen. Until they all get back to what drove my interest in games in the first place…

Personally I’m waiting for FPS and Melee Battle Royale’s to die down and we can get back to Hack n Slashing and Platformers, Single Player, and character and story driven games.  Platform is irrelevent.  In the meantime, I’ll stick with my PC where I can wait for games to be 10 bucks and not have to worry about…

This and the lack of actually exclusive games I can’t play on any other system is why my month old Switch Lite is about to get sold.
